I was looking through my old DA account the other day and decided to put a little something together to remind me how far I've come and how my design has changed over the years. It was a lot of fun to look back.

04: 03/04 is when I joined the Suta-Raito oekaki and the rest of the internet art world. I'd had a persona before (I drew myself like Kenshin, from Rurouni Kenshin), but I'd never really had a fursona or a proper design that I drew.
As you can see, my design changed a lot that year. I started out by drawing myself with pink hair and white cat ears and tail (I don't have any pictures that I drew back then) and they developed into white dog ears/tail as my persona's hair turned red. My first official fursona was the Wobbit (a cross between a rabbit and a wolf, what the hell), hence my first screen name on DA; ~woobit (the correct spelling of Wobbit was taken).
After my Wobbit fursona, I was some sort of puppy with black ears, tail, and legs. I'd draw my persona with the black ears and tail (and that has stuck around for a very long time). I don't have any pictures that I drew of the furry/quad form, so here's a couple by Lilchu; [link] [link]

05:I was really into SR these two years. I was actually banned from SROA for like a year during this time. My fursona was gray for a really short time (I don't even remember that fursona, but I have a picture documenting it) and then it turned red (red stuck around for a long time).
It was a red, black, and white wolf-dog that soon developed into a more detailed version. My blue tongue appeared.

06:This was a huge art year for me. It was the freshman year of high school and the year where I really started to branch away from my anime style and started to create something more my own. I entered my relationship with Ren and we drew a lot together, working off of each other.
My fursona still had the same basic fur pattern, but turned into an otter mix. It was really just an otter with big pointed ears instead of small, round ones. This fursona went through a lot as my style shifted.

07: It was in between these two years that I decided to make a new DA account to sort of start over. :3 Gradually my hair and fur got a lot paler and lighter in colour. Still the same persona design, pretty much. Towards the end of that year I started to draw myself as an aardwolf on and off.

08: My style at this time is really close to what it is now. It's still shifting, but slower.
My fursona officially became an aardwolf (I still draw the otter version from time to time). X eyes (and buttons) started to be drawn here and there.

09:My persona stayed the same, I started to draw my anthro form a lot more. The white around my fursona's mouth disappeared. The X eyes started to show a lot more and were definitely build into the design.

My fursona recently turned gray. I drew [link] and it inspired me to change my normal fursona design. It's still really unsettled, but I like it. <3

Aww.. I've liked looking at how you've changed and how far you've come. I'm so proud. X3 You forgot to mention that your eyes just turned green.

Damn, it'd be more complicated to draw your real eyes in. Which is why, I guess, you had one brown and one green for so long. c:

Either way, this was nice. <3 I love you.
